OPERA SERIES

Opera, batteria dall' aspetto estetico inconsueto, è il risultato della pluriennale ricerca e dell' accurato studio che Tullio ha compiuto nel campo della batteria a doghe. La caratteristica innovativa principale era data da un anello interno che veniva calzato alle due estremita del fusto, allo scopo di irrigidirlo. Questo nuovo sistema di rinforzo permetteva una risposta acustica completamente indipendente da variazoni ambientali. La stabilità del fusto e la sua perfetta aderenza alla pelle permettevano il controllo acustico e la stabilizzazione dell' accordatura.

The Opera series presented a drum with a unique look, and was the result of the previous years research and testing done by Tullio, with the stave method of drum making. The innovative approach to making the shell more rigid was to place two rings either end, inside the shell—also giving the drum it’s unique character. This new method of reinforcing the shells gave an answer to the problem drummers had of keeping a quality acoustic sound in environments that would effect the shells of another drum. The stability of the shell and the perfect fitting of the skin, gave full control and stabilization of the acoustic sound and its tuning.
